I mean, the whole story revolves on her finding who she really is so it kind of makes sense, however, I wish she'd be a little more decisive when it comes to the romance. I'm not giving a review or anything like that though because I've only read 3 volumes and skimmed through volume 4. If anything, I may get into this later on when I have more time, but for now at least I'll add it to my lists so I don't forget about it in case I want to pick it up again.
I've got to hand it to PEACH-PIT. Their art is very cute, and they've done a great job with the characters (personality wise and costume wise). However, I really can't condone a 10 year old protagonist having a 17 year old love interest. It sends a very, very bad message… If you pretend she's older, it softens the blow, but still…
I read this back when i was in middle school.... and i had the biggest crush on Ikuto..... lolSeriously, I would squeal every time he made his entrance or had one of those moments with amu. ha ha ha. Even if it's just a kid's story it did not stick with me as much as some other stories I read as a kid like Tokyo Mew Mew, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura or what not, but don't get me wrong, it was still a decent read. If only because Ikuto kept me coming back for more. Oh did I have a crush on him as a kid. This is one of those mangas that if you were like me and waiting for the untimely updates than you probably read all of it, but if you were fortunate enough to get all the chapters in one sitting then you might have skimmed which is what I would have probably done because not every chapter is worth reading.Nevertheless, it's decent. Wouldn't say it's "great for kids," because I think kids would be even more bored and probably much quicker if they read this manga. But it's definitely for adolescent girls that like adorable bishounens and a "cool" heroine.
